actors with the BEST eyes EVER!!

The first thing I notice about a person is their eyes and these are the actors with the best eyes that I have ever seen! Whether they are green, blue, grey or brown, eyes are the windows to the soul and I always feel like I can read a person better by looking into their eyes. I hope that you agree that these are some of the actors with the best eyes!
 1.             IAN SOMERHALDER

Ian Somerhalder is absolutely one of the top actors with the best eyes! I may have a slight celebrity obsession with him, but can you blame me?! He is one of the stars of The Vampire Diaries and it is the perfect role for him because he has deeply intense and hypnotizing eyes, even without special effects or contacts! I think it’s the combination of dark hair and abnormally bright eyes that makes him stand out for me. If I were having a face to face conversation with him, there’s no way I would hear a single word he’d say because I would be 100% lost in his eyes!
I just love him!

2. WENTWORTH MILLER

If you watch Prison Break then you’ve seen Wentworth Miller. I can’t help being distracted by his gorgeous, bright blue eyes while I’m watching the show. His eyes are so piercing and strong that it’s hard not to stare at them. If I were having a face to face conversation with him, there’s no way I would hear a single word he’d say because I would be 100% lost in his eyes!

3. JOHNNY DEPP

Johnny Depp has the best EVERYTHING, but I especially love his deep, milk chocolate colored eyes. They are always so expressive and you feel like you can see into his soul when you look into his eyes. The expressions in his eyes almost force you to feel his emotions whether they're happy, sad or playful.

4.             George Clooney

The half-closed 'bedroom eyes' look has boosted the careers of men such as George Clooney: But bedroom eyes actually make men look shifty rather than romantic, a study has found. Well whatever the study says I though find his eyes so deep and intimidating sexy!!

5.             ZAC EFRON

Zac Efron’s eyes are to die for! They are almost an unnaturally blue color that stands out impressively on screen as well as in photographs. They seem to always be sparkling, happy and full of energy!

Now that I’ve told you the  actors who I think have the best eyes, I’d love to hear your opinion! There are so many gorgeous-eyed men out there that we see on the big screen or on our own TV every day, it’s hard to narrow it down to the best! What actors do you think have the best eyes?

HOW TO WEAR HIGH HEELS!

I know and everyone else also know that I won’t be the best person to give any damn tips about wearing heels!! I had never ever worn them. Due to all the cramps I have got! And I transform to a extremely clumsier person and tend to fall over my feet!!
But Now I have started to practice this stuff!  Yea! And I’m going good and happy not at all CLUMSIER!
So Now I can definitely share my Views with you!!

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT

If you are just starting out, don't immediately go for the stilettos.  Get some heels between 2-3 inches and preferably with a bit of a thicker heel and wear them around the house. (These would be great)  Wear them when you are  doing your makeup, when you are vacuuming, walk up and down the stairs, etc...  You don't need to even get dressed up, just walk around and wear them in your sweats, nobody will see you but if you wear them during normal activities without leaving the house, you will get a lot more used to them and not feel foolish because nobody will see you practicing.  I do this when I'm breaking my shoes in and it helps a lot in that aspect as well.
 DOES IT FIT?
Nothing looks worse than a girl who's wearing shoes that are too big or too small and you can see them visibly struggling to walk in them.  I have started to wear different sizes with different brands and even within the same designer I can go up or down a half size so make sure that you are wearing the size that fits your foot and not just the size that you "usually" wear.  To help with sizing you can also get insoles. When you are buying shoes, walk around the shoe department in them and make sure that your heel doesn't pop out or it's not squeezing your toes or the sides of your feet.  All of that will stay the same once you buy them and take them home.  Don't think that shoes will stretch because most of the time they won't stretch enough and they'll still be too tight to wear.

Nobody likes to wear too tight shoes.  Well, I sure don't and I think most people wouldn't either.  If they are a bit loose and the half size down is too small, ask the sales associate if you can see how it fits with an insole or a foot pad.  Most often they will have temporary foot pads that you can put in your shoe to see if it will help They aren't as good as foot petals but good for a temporary fix.

WALK SLOWLY AND TAKE SMALL STEPS

I admit, I'm a fast walker but like I said Walking slow is much better than trying to keep your normal pace and then falling on your face.  Don't feel silly for walking slow or taking small steps.  I mean don't walk abnormally slow (if you do, you may need more practice) but look around you, there's always a ton of people walking slow and you probably don't stare at them weird or anything do you?  So ignore your own self conscious feeling of "dang people are probably staring at me because I'm so slow" and just take your time walking.  If you have to go up or down stairs, always hold on to the handrail or your significant other to keep steady.  It sounds silly but I've seen people take tumbles because they didn't have anything to hold onto but if you are wearing heels, you have a higher chance of slipping or getting your footing wrong when going down stairs.  I've taken a few tumbles myself that the handrail has helped me from making into an embarrassing situation!

ALWAYS CARRY FLATS WITH YOU

When I know I'll be walking a lot, I always carry a bigger handbag and put a pair of flats in there.  I have a ton of shoe bags from all my shoes so I just put a pair of flats in a shoe bag to keep my handbag contents from getting dirty.  Then when I've been on my feet for a couple of hours and I need to give them a rest, I'll just slip on my flats, put my heels in the shoe bag and my feet are back to being comfy! Keep blisters away! do.  Ever since I started investing in high end shoes, I have never gotten a blister from a shoe.  I think it's the way the shoe is made and the materials inside the shoe.  For cheaper shoes, you may get synthetic materials inside the shoe which after your foot has rubbed up against it for an hour or two, it just can't be comfortable. Whereas for designer shoes, the entire insole as well as the inner lining is made from genuine leather this is softer to your feet and molds better than the synthetic materials.  If you are getting blisters from the inside of your shoes, put your shoes on and note where you think they might start rubbing and stick little band aids there or you can also get some moleskin padding as well if you want to cut out custom sizes. That's it for my tips!

The only thing that I want to reiterate is to practice and practice some more!  That's the only way that your feet will get used to being at a strange angle for long periods of time. If you practice enough you might end up to train your feet to wear flats :)

LOOK of the Day!

One of the more overlooked areas of stylish dressing is the relationship between belts and shoes. The first point to make regarding belts and shoes is that you should not actually match them, they should compliment each other.  They should work together visually but not match so closely that it looks like you purchased them as a set!
If you are wearing red shoes I can pretty much guarantee that your shoes are the focal point of your outfit and a red belt with Raybans would only serve to knock your look right over the edge.

Gem Push Pins

Every now and then a craft project falls into my inbox and I’m blown away by how the simplest ideas are often the best. This clever plaster push pin project comes from blogger Mandy Pellegrin of Fabric Paper Glue. She was kind enough to share it here with us today.
Sure, Pinterest has revolutionized the way we keep tabs on our sources of inspiration, but if we’re honest, nothing can really replace a good old-fashioned bulletin board. They’re not only home to our favorite glossy clippings; they can also be a place to stow and display the items that represent so much more than the visual stimulation afforded on our computer screens — a place to keep the tactile textures of our favorite fabrics, little reminders of life’s events, or sweet handwritten notes. So, why not give these items the presentation they deserve by using pushpins with a little design flair? With this DIY, you’re three steps (four, if you’re ambitious) and about 15 active minutes away from a truly unique set of gem-shaped pushpins.

MATERIALS:
plaster
gem-shaped candy mold
pushpins
disposable cup and spoon
craft paints and sponge brush (optional)

Directions:
1. Mix plaster according to the directions in a disposable cup. Using a disposable spoon, fill each mold with plaster.

2. A s the plaster begins to become rigid (about 5 minutes), submerge the end of a pushpin in the middle of each mold.

3. Once fully dry (about 30-45 minutes), pop the gems out of their molds.

4. Give the gems a coat of paint in the color of your choice. Or, easier still, leave them the lovely matte white of the plaster.

Give it a try!

10 FOOD TO EAT DAILY FOR GREAT SKIN!

I don’t know about you people, but if I could find foods to eat for great skin instead of spending money on costly products, I would be all for it, wouldn't you? Well, I have great news! It is truly possible to eat with your skin in mind and avoid buying any expensive products whatsoever. I know, because I've seem my friends using different and different kinds of products and creams to have a nice skin! How did I accomplish this? I know it isn't easy, but it is possible, and far less expensive than turning to products until I found one that simply put a band-aid over the problem. Certain foods can aggravate the skin, while others can enhance it. Here are my top foods to eat for great skin that you should try to include everyday. You don’t have to eat all these foods each day, but even a few of them if you will add on in your diet would be excellent!

1.SPINACH
Spinach is an excellent source of folate, Vitamin E, iron, chlorophyll, plant protein, magnesium, fiber, Vitamin C and Vitamin A. VitaminS A, E, and C are especially excellent vitamins for your skin due to their antioxidant abilities. These foods also hydrate the skin and enhance your natural glow. Chlorophyll, which is rich in all bright and dark green foods, is a top remedy against acne. Chlorophyll is nature’s most potent cleanser found in green plant foods. By eating it, you are literally cleaning your skin from the inside out. The iron and protein in spinach also help to keep skin looking youthful and to maintain a healthy blood flow.

2.DARK CHOCOLATE

Dark chocolate is rich in flavanols, fatty acids and antioxidants that promote glowing skin. Cocoa also relaxes the arteries, increasing blood flow that leads to healthy looking skin. For the best choice, choose raw cacao or choose cocoa powder for less fat. If you like to enjoy dark chocolate, enjoy 1 ounce per day and be sure to choose at least 80% cacao content to avoid added sugars and milk found in traditional chocolate bars.

3.PEPPERS

Peppers are rich in carotenoids that help prevent wrinkles. In fact, one red bell pepper contains over 100% of the amounts of Vitamin C you need per day, in addition to being an excellent low sugar fruit. Peppers also increase blood flow to the skin, helping it appear more youthful. Peppers are also great to combat acne due to their carotenoids, which are antioxidants that help promote clear skin.

4.GREEN TEA

Green tea is a must-have “food” for great skin. Okay, so I know it is technically a beverage, but the tea leaves do come from a plant! Green tea is a wonderful source of beautifying antioxidants. It also relaxes the body and lowers stress due to a specific amino acid known as L-theanine. Drink 3 cups daily or more for best results. Even decaf is great if you don’t want to consume caffeine. Green tea is also great for your heart and your arteries by reducing blood pressure.

5.PAPAYA

Papaya is a wonderful food, girls! It is excellent for digestion, low in fructose, and it is such a great beauty food! The beautiful orange hue of papayas, and all orange foods, is due to high levels of Vitamin A in the form of beta-carotene. Beta-carotene is a top antioxidant to combat acne. Papaya is also rich in Vitamin C. Vitamin C may help protect skin cells against sun damage by promoting the repair of DNA that’s been harmed by UV rays that break down skin cells, which can lead to wrinkles.

6.COCONUT OIL

Coconut oil is rich in lauric acid, which is an antiviral agent that keeps away infections, acne, inflammation and viruses. Coconut oil is also rich in Vitamin E and essential fatty acids, which are great for keeping your skin soft, moist, supple and wrinkle-free. I like to consume 1 tbsp. raw coconut oil per day, along with using it as my moisturizer morning and night, and as a body cream.

7.CELERY

Celery is a wonderful beauty food! Most people underestimate this humble veggie. Celery is rich in Vitamin K that keeps your blood flow healthy and aids in reducing blood pressure. This lowers your stress levels significantly, and we all know stress can be a sure cause of bad skin. Celery is also rich in water, potassium and natural sodium. This keeps electrolytes even so you don’t become dehydrated. Dehydrated skin means wrinkles, dryness, and flaking that could even lead to breakouts.

8.BEETROOT

They might stain your fingers, but the skin-clearing properties of beetroots are well worth the effort. The purple roots are particularly high in vitamin A, as well as potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, and vitamin E, which is essential for epidermal health and healing. Combined, these nutrients make a powerful all-round body cleanser, helping to eliminate toxins from the body and lower cholesterol too.

9.WATER

Clear skin starts from within, and one of the best, cheapest and most effective ways to get there is to help your body flush out toxins by drink plenty of water. Not only will upping your fluid levels help to keep your brains fully functional and therefore better able to cope with stress, but it also replenishes water in the cells. Make sure you drink the recommended eight glasses of water a day, and drink more after exercise.

10.TOMATOES

Tomatoes are rich in vitamin C, which helps to keep the skin firm and taut by aiding collagen production. They also contain lycopene: the red pigment which not only gives them their bright red color, but also stimulates skin circulation.

There are many foods that can be great for your skin and many that aren't  It is always a good idea to lay off junk food, too much sugar, refined carbs and trans fats for the best skin possible. Do you enjoy any of these foods each day?

FACT OF THE DAY!!

Did you know that a person collecting Neckties is know as a …Grabatologist and the necktie is considered to be the most popular father’s day gift around the world? There you have it!

My JOURNEY from FASHION to PASSION!!

It has been a long time since I looked back and thought of my own fashion journey. The journey from where ‘I wanted to buy everything’ to the time where ‘I know precisely what I like and what I wanted to buy.’ Covered in books and websites, to know what everyone is wearing, lusting, liking and designing can be more frenzied than just one can imagine!! Today, as I quietly sit in the my room looking back the old pictures of me and my family/friends. Recalling the pleasing weather of Jaipur with the sky in  the most perfect shade of cerulean. I find myself suddenly thinking of my juvenile wardrobe and how much I and my clothes have grown and changed!!! J
I am reminded of the time when all my outfits were stitched by my aunt,by selecting the most beautiful fabrics and stitching them on her own!JUST FOR ME!<3 We’ll there are some advantages of being the only girl int the home! <3 THE PRINCESS!! <3 There were frills and lace and  hats! It feels so awesome to not have to worry about what to wear once in a while; cause it is already chosen and laid out for you… the excellent life! J
Then after a few years when my aunt got married and went away from me to begin her new life.
Now the duties were partially divided to my mum and my grand mother; Now all my outfits were lovingly picked by my mother. J
And then, a few years later, there was the time I gave up EVERYTHING. All things pretty and all things pink, to be a boy. Only boy clothes were allowed. There were t – shirts, cargoes, bandanas and denims and lowers and football was my life!!
Those days had definitely made a tom boy! With all those bob cut hairs!! :D I think I still love wearing guy clothes because of that time. But THE DIFFERENCE IS, Now I know how to wear them without actually looking like a boy!
The teen was a bit catastrophic, like it is for the majority of us. I can say so now! Not a complete disaster but I did make some choices that I will NEVER EVER recommend anyone to wear at any age. I guess one is just a lot more experimental (Sometimes not in a good way :)) and still discovering their personality and personal style. I always ended up shopping for some pretty unnecessary stuff which wasn’t necessarily pretty. (I can say now) There were suicidal red hoddie jacket or I don’t remember what that was! a strange denim skirt of an discomfited length and those dirty yellow bell bottoms…!! I still don’t know why they were ever even allowed to enter MY closet. The naivety.
But as the times had  passed I realized being with girls than boys will give you a better perception about what other are wearing looking at other people you’ll be able to realize on your own what you like and what you don’t; and what will look good on you and what will not!
But there’s a thing that I have surely learn from my father he was the first one to tell me that you can wear whatever you like just be sure that you are comfortable and confident in whatever you wear. You have no idea how much confidence well just this sentence of him has ever given me!
Seriously this has changed my entire perception about fashion!!
I still don’t know exactly what I dress up like. It depends on my mood each day. When I’m happy I’ll dress up when I’m not you’ll see the difference! I love things, get bored of them, toss them away and maybe months later bring them out from the back of my closet. People may like what I wear or may dislike it… it doesn’t really matter to me. Because what I know for sure is that I love dressing up and I do it for myself. Because I enjoy clothes and those pretty little things.
I just hope you are not finding this post too much boring….Coz it’s way too much about me… but I just wanted to put it out there that not everyone is born with a great dressing sense. It needs to be cultivated and it takes time to know yourself a lot of time and what you feel comfortable in. It’s not about how much you can shop and how much money you spend on these things… it’s how well you know your body and know what looks good on you. Hope my fashion journey continues and gets even better with time, with new experiences, new inspirations and expectantly lots of travel.
I guess, the more one looks and observes and understands, the better one will be, in every way.
Here’s to creating blunders and realizing there are NO real rules when it comes to fashion.

How to wear Scarfs this SUMMER!!

As in my previous post about the DU Campus Trend Check! I had told you about how kheffiyehs are out and scarfs are IN..!
So,here i'm back again to guide you how to wear these Sacrfs this Summer!

Trendy cold season style, like your favorite scarf, shouldn’t be left hanging for months on end waiting for old man winter to swing by. Scarves are one winter accessory that can be worn virtually any season. Knowing just how to do it changes it all, of course. REMEMBER!!! Summer apparels are meant to be breezy, bright and cheerful, so considering these key words should give you the ultimate scarf to rock this summer. For more cool ideas on how to wear scarves during summer, check out the recommendations below!!

·         Don’t sweat the big stuff—you’ll want your scarf thin for better freshening. So, The lighter, the better.

·         Pay attention to the fabric. Cotton, for example, is an affordable cool fabric. Linens are also relatively cheap and the loose weaves allow your skin to breath. Want a more luxurious touch? Go for silk scarves, which are elegant and soft, but sometimes quite pricey. J

·         Certain colors bring out the fullness of SUMMER!!And the right combinations can make those shiny days last. Bright colors like orange and yellow are radiant and perky; while teal, emerald green and turquoise are very in this season.
·         And trust me Try Neon colors..!It really works and don’t worry about all the attention that you’ll cover! J
·         Patterned scarves are timeless. A great oldie that hasn’t died off is the ol’ polka dot—simple, fun and diverse enough to impress granny. Tropical designs can be stylish too. A bonus is that you don’t need to be stick-thin to wear big, bold scarves—quite the contrary. Printed designs will turn eyes to your scarf rather than your silhouette.
·         Take into account the numerous styles scarves come in. Whether they’re knitted, woven, glittered or crocheted, don’t feel reduced to only wearing plain old boring scarves. In fact, a texturized scarf can update your whole look in seconds, leaving your hair ,make up or sheos to second place. J
·         Think outside the neck. Scarves can be used to cover bathing suits, as a belt or even as an accessory for your bag. If you’re still set on wearing it around your neck, then look for smart ways of tying a fancy knot—like a shoulder buster tie, resembling a sailor’s neckerchief, which is a much simpler way of showing off your scarf.

·         Headscarves have been popular for as long as we can remember. These alone canbeatoff the "bad hair day"  or give you a classic look taken right from Italian fashion runways. However, if you try to recreate it, always choose a medium-sized fancy-fabric scarf. Although it sounds complicated, a cheaply-made scarf can mess up your overall look.
Talking about hairstyles, take a cue from these new trendy braid bars (yep—there’s such a thing) where they will braid a fine scarf into your hair, getting a unique yet polished look. But don’t spend your hard-earned bucks on them—instead, watch YouTube tutorial. With some practice, it will get easier every time.
TRUST ME!
By the time try this!
